That was really cool. I was hoping the last shot would be the car fully restored.

Yah, he says the next step is just some rattle can red and then a new engine. He says eventually he's gonna paint it WW Blue and go with a Ver. 5 body...whatever that means. My Impreza knowlege ends with WRX's. :oops:

But it's really cool to see a kid working on a project like that. We should all have been so lucky.

Version 5 is a WRX. Just one of the ones before they came to the US. ;)

There's a thread somewhere around here with pictures of like v3 thru v7 WRX wagons... someone should post the link, I'm too lazy to look for it.

Damn, those are some sexy cars. So those are all USDM Imprezas with body kits to look like JDM STI wagons? I'm confused.

There are a mixture of US and Japanese. Look at the steering wheel placement in those pictures ;)

The left hand drive ones started out as lowly L wagons, but look much better. I'd be willing to bet at least on of the left hand drive ones has a JDM motor swap as well.
