Went Deer hunting, and look what I saw! An STi

My brother and I went archery deer hunting the third and fourth of Sept. We were in Lamoille Canyon, near Elko Nv. in the Ruby Mountains. These pictures were taken the last day of the season. We were coming back down to the trail head, and I started laughing. I told by brother, hey look another STi. Once I got closer I noticed it was a 2006 model. So, I snapped a couple of pictures of it. I then started walking back to where my STi was parked. I noticed a younger couple walking down the road, so I asked them if that was there STi. They said yes it is. So I told them I had the silver 05 just around the bend. The other guy started laughing, and said he was just taking a look at my car. Anyway, he told me that he couldn't find any 05's and that he really wanted an 05, instead of an 06.
Go figure, out in the middle of nowhere, and I run into an 06 STi. LOL |
Classic.
Subaru good times. |
I looked at the pic of the car's rear and the first thing that ran through my mind was, "needs mudflaps." Subarus on dirt just look naked with without mudflaps.

I saw a DIRTY DIRTY black on in the UNR parking garage the other day.

DID YOU SHOOT IT?
I guess they are slowly, slooowly growing on me, nice pictures though. |
So let me get this straight: if successful, you were gonna toss that deer on the hood of your STi and drive all the way back with its tongue flapping in the wind, right?
In any case, that's gotta be the funnest hunting rig to drive across the state in....as opposed to some under-powered, cramped and noisy Jeep or something.... |
Nah, if we got one we were going to go back down to the campsite and get my brother's underpowered ford f-250. LOL.
