OK, this might be a nob question for some, but I'm to tired from working all the time to do the research. So, I'll just ask here....

Will 04 STI taillights fit an 03 WRX? Thanks

I'm 95% sure the answer is no.

02 and 03 WRX's have the same, but in 04 the Impreza got the peanut headlights and both the STI and WRX got new tails. Unless they made them interchangable, but I doubt it.

They will fit, but there will bit a bit of room over the bottom and the circle that protrudes in the 04 lights will not sit flush with your bumper. You can get an 04 bumper to go with the tails and it will fit. I've seen pictures on clubwrx.net so it can be done, the black rubber molding doesn't quite fit as well.

Why would anyone want to trade the halfway decent '02-'03 lights for the ricer semi-alteza '04-'05's? :P

You know, despite the fact that I just knocked the '06 tails in my last post, suddenly I'm thinking about swapping a set on to mine. . . I think the back end might look much better with less red against the white.

Cause when I purchased the car it had full blown Altezza's on it. It's time for them to go :lol:
