Just wondering, did it snow in Reno or Truckee yet?

I'm in Sac, and will be back in Reno Sunday night. Just wondering if it snowed up there yet.

Maybe I'll wait for Monday morning if it did.

None in Reno.

It's not really cold enough to stick around Donner Summit. I tend to keep a close eye on temps and precipitation. No reason you can't head up tomorrow.

We had maybe a half inch on Thursday night. All melted now. Rose and the summit are lightly dusted.

Yeah, my parents are coming up this weekend... if it snows they'll be pissed, and I'll have to deal with pissed off parents! (oh noes!)

Nick Koan 2005-10-31 11:02 AM

Nah, your parents should be able to make it over the pass in that spiffy SUV they just got.

You mean the FWD, high center of gravity, heavier than it should be, Camry... er Lexus 300?

I thought I just about broke that car in a light misting rain because the traction control made the car shudder so bad trying not to spin the tires as I pulled away from a stop light at 30% throttle.
