2006 Solo 2 Changes in December FasTrack
STi and Evo move to BSP and boost is unregulated (if you don't change anything else, just boost the ... er.. boost).
Now it has been recommended to the board of directors, which means its not yet final, but very likely to get passed, right? Still kinda new to this SCCA Solo thing, but that seems to be the consensus on other forums. http://www.scca.com/_FileLibrary/Fil...2-fastrack.pdf Page 6 (F-309) for more info. Quote:

Oh, and in Prepared category news, AP cars are now XP.

Given the "BSP" pax factor for years prior, it should fall somewhere between esp and SM when the actual factors come out, that should be right on.
Now, as far as my (currently) SM prepared car goes...What do I have to change to get back to BSP? If steering rack bushings are legal now, I'm good to go. However, I rally want to do the Cusco Master Cylinder brace, that would likely be illegal in BSP. |
Oops...BSP will be a rice-free class

Steering rack bushings, and transmission mounts, were approved for this year several months ago in both ST and SP classes. Unfortunately there is still no mention of MC braces or brackets in SP rules Matt. :( You could change anything about the master cylinder or booster if you wanted, but can't add the bracket. And I guess you'll have to cancel that TXS BOV you ordered too huh? :p

ESP WRX could now be very interesting... 06 could be a requirement though, or a update engine swap..
The mostly stock brake issue is still a pain though. |
