Cordless Impact Wrench Deal 11/25 -11am

Pep Boys. 7am-11am Friday.

Goodyear Racing 24V Cordless Impact Wrench $79.98!!! Regularly $99.

This is a great deal... I paid $119 for my Harbor Fright one, and it is only 18.4v...

Here are the spec I found elsewhere..

*Heavy duty heat treated gears for strength and durability
*Comfortable shock absorbing grip
*Variable speed trigger for safety and control
*170lbs Maximum Driving Torque
*Includes SAE and metric wheel changing sockets and 5" extension

Oh, and I'm not sure this is tech, but it kinda is so this thread can be deleted after Friday if needed...

MattR 2005-11-24 12:45 PM

Man, I'd be all over that, if someone can go to Pep Boys and pick me up one, I'll pay you back...haha.

tysonK 2005-11-24 12:59 PM

Sweet I'll be at work.

MikeK 2005-11-24 01:28 PM

I need one of these, time to set the alarm I guess

tysonK 2005-11-24 01:48 PM

It does look pretty handy. It should make brake bleeds even faster.

knucklesplitter 2005-11-24 03:57 PM

It'd make great gift for somebody who, oh I don't know, say let you use their AccessPort for a month or two, or something like that. ;)

Dean 2005-11-25 09:15 AM

So did anyone go buy one of these?

MikeK 2005-11-25 11:45 AM

I was planning on going, but I didn't want to get up that early in case I got mauled by the thanksgiving bunny

Dean 2005-11-27 07:05 PM

They still have them on sale for $89 all week. That's still a rocking deal.

Don't know, but you may never need one if it is at all like the HF model. I think I did 8 or so off-ons with it in a day without killing it.

MattR 2005-11-28 10:23 PM

Sweet, I just discovered I'm getting one of these for Xmas!!!

Cool... People should give more power tools as gifts.

Here's a great deal on what looks like a decent jack. I'm going to pick one up tonight.

Couple cool features, but 55lbs. is rediculous! The Harbor Freight is $20 cheaper, and only 24lbs.

I had a Craftsman floor jack. It broke 2 weeks after the warranty expired, Sears wouldn't fix or replace it.

And I put a hole in my trunk liner bringing it to Sears 'cause some SUV cut me off making me swerve and brake, sliding the handle into (and through) the side of my trunk.

There's a nice looking aluminum jack at Costco for $99 last time I was there. I believe it was a 2 ton.

Pat R. 2005-12-02 08:07 AM

The cheap aluminum POS I bought last spring was borked after the third use. I don't mind a little extra weight if it means it's going to last more than a month.

Dean 2006-03-12 08:02 AM

On sale again... $79.98 after $10.00 rebate. Used one at last Audi event. Nice....

MattR 2006-03-12 09:01 AM

Yep, I used mine to change a flat on the Titan, it works good.
