Stuff to go with my hoodie

Figured I could not wear my new hoodie with a stock wagon so I placed a order for a Cobb access port and a Megan Racing cat back exhaust. Now I just have to look longingly out the window for the UPS driver.

Nick Koan 2005-12-19 02:34 PM

Being modified is not a requirement for the club, but I support your new mods!

Joeyy 2005-12-20 12:00 PM

The exhaust shipped today and if I'm lucky I'll have it on before Thur. Don't know if the access port shipped yet...

JC 2005-12-20 01:09 PM

Awesome man, you will enjoy the new power I'm sure. Of course then you will only want more.

Joeyy 2005-12-21 02:20 PM

Yeah!.. The UPS man commith with gifts for the wagon.

Joeyy 2005-12-21 06:16 PM

Let me continue talking to myself. The wagon now has the new exhaust installed and I came out of it with only one cut. Now we'll see if it passes the "girlfriend test". I have to read the directions on the access port tonight.

yah make sure if you take your time and install the AP correctly.

I should have sold you my megan exhaust.

It's cool sounding huh?

sperry 2005-12-21 06:20 PM

Ahh.... I miss the days of getting new mods and installing them myself.

...one of these days soon I'll have my car back! With a raging 4300 rpm rev limit. Then I've got like 40 hours of work to put into it on all the backlogged shit. Like wiring the DCCD... only god knows how bad that's gonna be!

Anyway, back to the topic... the AP should be pretty easy to install. I didn't do mine, but IIRC, it's as simple as plugging in the test jumper and the data cable and waiting 30 minutes w/o doing anything that could effect the voltage in the car, like opening a door or running the stereo.

Wait, he didn't buy your cat-back? I assumed you sold it to him! Do you still have yours still?

I asked the Cobb dude on the phone for a free "cap". He said he only had blue and not black. I said I can't be picky if it's free and he said cool. Well I was talking about a baseball hat but he was thinking oil filler cap. So now I have a blue oil filler cap to balace on top of my head. :)

Dude, you gotta show that off at a meet

MattR 2005-12-22 07:29 AM

Haha. That's cool he gave you a free cap...I would have rather had a ball-cap though :moon:

Haha, that's funny stuff.

The ECU is updated...now for the drive in the rain.

cody 2005-12-22 12:36 PM

Time to change that Sig. :)

Joeyy 2005-12-22 01:11 PM

Signature changed, thanks for reminding me. Do we know if there any SECCS decals still available?

cody 2005-12-22 01:14 PM

Great new sig. How's the car feel?

Nick Koan 2005-12-22 01:31 PM

I was just about to suggest a sig change for another member who has coincidentially also posted in this thread (but not Joeyy), but it looks like he changed it w/o my suggestion

Actually, it was changed at yours, and other's, suggestion.

General rule of thumb... if your sig takes up more than about an inch of vertical real estate, it's too big.

cody 2005-12-22 01:33 PM

Man, I can't do anything right.

Yeah, but you're catching on. In no time you'll be ripping n00bs new ones and PMing me that other people's sigs are too long in no time!

<--- Edit... oh look, I'm at 555 for the 9th time!

cody 2005-12-22 01:37 PM

Nev4r! I'm forever the n00b advocate.

I'll rip you a new one though Big Guy. ;)

Joeyy 2005-12-22 01:40 PM

I'm just now going out on the road. The better half came home for lunch and found me sitting in the wagon. She just smiled and asked me what I did. I have some running around to do at the Lake and then its down into the Canyon to carve my way around the falling rocks to Reno for a haircut and then onto the meet. See you all tonight.

MattR 2005-12-22 01:44 PM

Sweet man...It will be good to see a wagon with some work done to it once again.
