New SCCA Boardmembers

Hey, I just got the latest Reno SCCA newsletter and saw that Matt and Scott were elected to the Board of Directors. Congrats! :)

I wasn't so much "elected" as I was "hey, since Lucas is the new Assistant RE, who's gonna take over the 2nd year of his old 2 year director position? How 'bout Scott?"-ed.

Yeah, Lucas held me car hostage until I agreed to the post..No big deal, I'm looking forward to some new duties in the club...

Also, Mike K is the new chief of timing and scoring.

Don't forget pants. We need to take every opportunity to remind Mike to wear pants ;)

I'm glad to see SECCS has infiltrated the top tier of Reno motorsport ;)

Yes, well, Dean was on the board last year, (And several years prior). He's probably laughing at Scott and I as we speak

Nick Koan 2005-12-27 09:21 AM

Yeah, I believe the meeting went like

"Ooh, Scott can do it"
"All in Favor"
Everyone but Scott: "Aye"
"All opposed"
Scott: "Nay"

Congrats guys. You are now responsible for holding up the AWD ST banner vs. the RWD R folks in meetings.

Don't let Debbie lul you into a false sense of security... Remember, she has gone over to the dark side. RWD & R Compound. Though she hasn't joined the pushrod V-8 club yet. :-)

Although, we have all but converted Lucas! His vette went up for sale this week, and as soon as it goes...hello STI!

I'm thinking BSP, considering what mods he can get on in time.

dknv 2005-12-27 09:13 PM

BSP with Larry and whoever else decides to run there - should be interesting.

He should join seccs.
