FS: Cusco Rear Camber Plates, '02+ WRX, '04 STI

So a few weeks ago I bought MattR's Cusco rear camber plates because they wouldn't work with his coilovers.

Well, I finally tried to install 'em on my car over the xmas break, and they fit the koni's even worse than Matt's . The pillow balls aren't large enough for the strut to fit all the way through, and the supplied bushing/nut is the wrong threading for the US made Koni's. So I've got to sell 'em.

They're minorly scratched up due to two failed installation attempts, but nothing you'd ever be able to see once they're installed.

They sell new for $250. I'm asking for what I paid for 'em, $200. These are notoriously hard to find and back-ordered often, so hurry up and snap 'em up!

I wonder if these work for the Apexi's Pete want to me to find out?

thats a high quality part there.

Tyson, my guess is that because the Apexi's are japanese they'll work. The US threaded Konis, not a chance... and the German KW's that MattR tried would work if he got a different upper spring perch (he decided against it simply 'cause he's already got the Group N's that are just about as still w/o being pillow-ball noisy).

If you've got the struts off the car, it would be trivial to test. Are you coming to the SCCA meeting tonight? Toss one in the car, and I'll bring the top mounts, and we can try it out!

will do.

Bummer they didn't work dude, they shouldn't be hard to sell though, those things are hot.

^He's talking about Scott's car not mine.

Scott and I will check thursday night for my struts.

Thanks for checking to see if they fit Tyson. I'm going to be strapped after buying all of your stuff, but if these stay up for sale for awhile I'll snag them.

Right now, I'm only listing them on SECCS. I can almost guarentee they'll be gone in a day or two if I list 'em on NASIOC or I-Club. Ty and I will try 'em out at the meet tomorrow, if they work and you want 'em let me know soon, so I know if I can list 'em elsewhere.

This is me, wishing these would fit my car. Dammit. I think the pattern is all wrong to fit. And I got Japanese threads too!

Nice work w/ the quote.

...does that mean you're interested? The camber plates will be with me at tonight's meet if anyone shows up w/ a check for $200, you can go home with 'em! :)

I'm interested ... in being a funny guy on the intarweb!

I have group-n top hats in the rear, I'm happy with those.

Bump for pictures! These are going on NASIOC and I-Club now, so if anyone local wants 'em let me know ASAP!

sperry 2006-01-10 08:12 PM

Sold!

MattR 2006-01-11 07:10 AM

Haha, That was quick.

Less than a day on NASIOC. I told you locals to jump on it if you wanted 'em 'cause they'd be gone quick if I listed 'em elsewhere!
