Last Night Was Fun

I had about 4 hours of down time last night between 12:30 and 4:30 I went driving for a little while, snow drifting is so much fun, I was doing 360s on kitzkie, and sliding around the spaghetti bowl. I tried to get Jonny and Pete to come out with me, Pete didn't answer his phone , Jonny picked up but didn't want to come out. So I went back to work, jumped on one of the tugs we have, its one of those things that we use to pull around the baggage carts. They've got straight 6s, RWD, but they are governed top speed of 20. I had a blast, I was doing J-turns on the runway, 360s, and powerslides. It was awesome. Anyone else go driving last night?

Nick Koan 2006-02-15 10:42 AM

Yeah,

so I got some new tires mounted on some new wheels (thanks Cory), and since it was nice and warm I decided to put them on. Yeah, I wake up, walk outside and go "what the hell?"

RE070's on ice FTL!

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-15 10:47 AM

Lol for the loss. Dude I barely remember that conversation, I was out man, out like a light. I did have a lotta fun on the way to work though. Saw 2 accidents and was skillimeters from being in one of em. Retard drivers. Oh and I semi-outran a HWY patrol lol, that was cool.

Bob did you take pictures of these airport antics?

You know the snow is totally your fault. Ass.

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-15 10:52 AM

You jinxed it for sure. Anyone know that roundabout on Clearacre and Wedekind? There is a down hill part right before the roundabout that was completely ice, almost hit a lady and watched another lady hit a curb and high center on some rocks =X

No, that would be me for washing, clay barring, glazing, and using 2 different waxes on my car Sunday.

Forgotten 2006-02-15 12:35 PM

Haha I saw you call, but it was like 2 o clock in the morning and I have your new number in my phone, there was no way I was going to answer that. I was going to put back on my summer tires on friday after the coilover install, I was almost in the same boat as you Nick.

Dean 2006-02-15 12:37 PM

This morning was a terrible commute. A bunch of 2 wheel drive idiots who only saw a "dusting" of snow didn't bother to put on the chains so they got stuck and spun wheels, etc on the ICE underneath... MORONS...

Wasn't it?!

All I needed to do was get from Cold Springs to Parr. 95S took two freakin' hours. I was an hour late to work. -.-

GC8.Love 2006-02-15 12:56 PM

Wait, sorry. Either 95S, Old N. Virginia, *or* the back routes thru Lemmon/Golden/Sun Valley.

What, no reference to "gapers"? :P

JonnydaJibba 2006-02-15 01:36 PM

Freakin gapers, I hate gapers. With there big ass 2wd SUV's and bike racks that stick out 5 feet from the back. Freakin gapers.

MattR 2006-02-15 05:19 PM

I had to throw chains on the truck to get my trailers out of the mud this afternoon...Good times.

doubleurx 2006-02-15 05:22 PM

I heard someone my age use the word "gaper", so I slapped him hard and called him a "Cod".

tysonK 2006-02-15 05:26 PM

There was nobody on the roads at 4am I pretty much drifted 395 from oddie all the way to work, I really like my snow tires pretty predictable, it was a little icy at times.

for now, 4am driving FTW(for now that is)!

[QUOTE=Forgotten] I have your new number in my phoneQUOTE]
Dude I called you from a pay phone.

MattR 2006-02-15 05:41 PM

WTF is this pay phone you speak of?

Ezdno 2006-02-15 09:10 PM

I called about a set of Blizzaks for $160 (used 1 season) on Saturday to pick up on Sunday, the chick says, I am going out of town until wednesday! So I limped along on my 3 season Falkens behind the idiots. She calls me back today saying..hey this is the girl with tires...my reply....I NEEDED THOSE TODAY! So she agreed to drive them down from Incline for me tomorrow. We are expecting 4 solid days of snow the rest of this week and thru the weekend. I thought that was nice of her.

El Rancho going up to Dandini was the most comical thing I seen all day though, two Camaros were having a ice spinning competition while traffic backed up to McCarran.

Forgotten 2006-02-15 09:47 PM

Err. I meant I don't have your "new" number in my phone which means I figured you bought a new phone instead of paying your bill for some reason? Good thing I saved that payphone number!
