Fire arm friendly members?

Living in the PRK really sucks.
I'm looking for a sympathetic firearm friendly SECCS member that can help me out.
PM me for details.

Paul

Is it just me or does this thread have the most ominous over-tones of any thread, ever?

Just an observation.

Yeah, I'm curious. . . but I'm not really into firearms, so I'm afraid to PM. . . :P

If you knew Paul, you'd really worry ;)

ScottyS 2006-04-03 01:02 PM

I was curious, so I PM'd him. Got nothing back, though.

XActive 2006-04-04 08:39 AM

I got nothing as well. To bad. Thought we could get together and go shoot stuff :)

Sorry for the delay.

No big secret; I was looking for some one to help me get spare parts for normal capacity magazines.
See, in The PRK, we can't "import" whole/complete high capacity magazines.
But we can import replcement parts for our existing magazines.
As long as I don't assemble the parts into more magazines, I'm legal.

The problem is that I can't find a vendor that's willing to disassemble the magazines prior to shipping them to me.
However, all the vendors have no problem shipping them to a third party for me.

That's where you, my gun-friendly SECCS members come in.

I was looking for a person that I could have mags shipped to, disassemble them, and either ship them to me, or I'd come pick 'em up.

What is PRK? The Peoples Republic of Korea?

Close.

People's Republic of Kalifornia.

Ooooh it's a joke. Neat.

ScottyS 2006-04-05 11:10 AM

Wow. Isn't it easier just to "find" a stash of pre-ban mags and "buy" some?

That sounds like the legal gymnastics people there are doing to get non-listed AR lowers shipped in. Personally, as screwed up as the CA DOJ is, I wouldn't want to be anywhere NEAR the letter of the law, as it seems it's safer to follow the intent of the laws (turn in your water balloon launchers) --- like the BATF, I'm sure the peons enforcing the billion overlapping CA DOJ regs on firearms restrictions don't know their own laws and could care less....
