Stock sway bar and jack handle free

I was clenaing out the garage and found a stock 2.5RS rear sway bar and also the thingy that comes with the stock jack that is used raise and lower the jack. If anyone wants this stuff, let me know.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-03 08:48 AM

Can I have those? I don't know where my cranker-upper went to but I don' have one...

sperry 2006-04-03 08:52 AM

I'm looking for a stock RS sway bar... no really, I am. Does it have the rubber bushings, or is it just the bar?

cody 2006-04-03 11:15 AM

I think I may have the bushings and other hardware from my OE 17mm sway if Arthur doesn't have them.

Kevin M 2006-04-03 11:17 AM

The bushings won't work- the hole through them is 17mm, not 13mm. ;)

cody 2006-04-03 11:22 AM

13??? wow.

MPREZIV 2006-04-03 11:25 AM

Umm... if you really want one Scott, you can have mine. It's just sitting out on my patio right now. Have the bar, endlinks, hardware, and I believe the bushings as well!

When I took mine off, I bent it up into a couple of coat hangars. ;)

Do you still have the bar itself?

cody 2006-04-05 07:31 PM

Nope, I gave it and my OE springs and a bunch of other stuff to a "friend" to sell on EBay and now he won't return my calls and emails or pay me the measly 50% I asked for. Sorry.

ArthurS 2006-04-06 07:01 AM

Sorry, I have been gone for a day or so. Johnny, you said it first so if you want them their yours. Did you want both the sway and cranker? Or just the cranker?

ArthurS 2006-04-06 07:02 AM

I am pretty sure the bushings are on the bar. I will check tonight.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-06 07:12 AM

Well I don't have either. My cranker is just gone somehow, I guess that sort of thing happens with 10 year old cars. And I don't even have a rear sway stock, so yeah. When can I pick them up?

Kevin M 2006-04-06 07:15 AM

Jonny, you need different rear control arms before you can mount a sway, and mounts too.

I knew the mounts part, but not the control arm part. Thanks for letting me know. Can I just bolt the different control arms on?

Kevin M 2006-04-06 08:17 AM

Yup.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-06 08:22 AM

Rad.

I'll be home after 8 tonight or after 5 tomorrow or anytime over the weekend.

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-06 08:39 AM

Pm me your address?

ArthurS 2006-04-06 08:40 AM

Also, I found a floor jack that someone can have also, but its missing the lever part with the handle used to jack it up. I supposed any metal pole that is the right size would still be fine to make it work though.

Done.

Arthur I've been thinking, there is really no point in me putting a rear sway on my car when I'll be selling it in the coming months. Sorry if this inconvienced anybody else interested... Although I would still like the jack handle.

ArthurS 2006-04-14 11:03 AM

No problem. Handle is still yours. Anyone else need the sway?

JonnydaJibba 2006-04-17 12:10 PM

Um so I don't need the jack handle anymore as there is no car to jack up... unless of course I could part out a stock jack.

Once again, very sorry.
