Whats up everyone? I guess im the newest member so ill introduce myself. I just moved up here from Texas a month or so ago and bought an 04 sti. I am new to the car hobby deal. I have always been into street bikes. I have alot of questions about performance and what not but ill hold out till i can come to one of the meetings. Recently i got a job as a salesman at Lithia Subaru so if yall wanna come by and say whats up thats cool. Just ask for "Tex". They call me that cause we have several justins and a dustin working here. I ran into a few people that talk about people meeting at circuit city on the weekends and go race and while im not a racer by any means i m just wondering is it safe to go out and watch and hang out? This group is especially anti-street racing and pro-legal/sanctioned racing. Come out and Auto Cross your STi or even better, hit up one of the track days at Reno Ferneley or somthing. It's tons of fun...

Hey man welcome to the club. Stay away from the circuit city crowd unless you want to remember the good 'ole days of high school. Reno PD will be happy to tell you what they think of hanging out with those guys. :P Our club attends a lot of legal racing events, you are much better off doing that. :)

Yes, it is pertinant that you steer clear of the Circuit City crowd, if you don't want to be involved in illegal street racing. We really look down upon that here in this group, as this club has worked hard at making a name for itself known among LEGAL racing sanctions. The whole street racing deal ain't our thang!

Welcome to the club! You should swing by a meet or try a fun sanctioned event, like autocross up in Stead. :)

So i guess ill be staying away from those people. Im not much on the whole illegal thing anyway and im not going back to prison. Just kidding never been.
So are there any days other than thursdays that we meet? I ask that because all i get off is tuesdays and wednesdays.On my car it has a Prodrive stage 1 exhaust with chip, Touch screen dvd player, zapco amp, 1 12in jl audio sub, tall console, and a prodrive shift knob. Catch yall later. Justin
