[Captain Kirk]Must. . . regain. . . traction![/Captain Kirk]

That was bad ass. Perhaps cars that light shouldn't be boosted to 400hp? Just a thought.

Kevin M 2006-05-17 07:16 PM

Yep, which is why Flyin' Miata's car beat that Lotus around the road course.

That being said my next car=elise and it will be boosted. Dunno about 400 hp but at least 275.

This is the same car with a new and much improved non stcok suspension eating up a Z06 like it was pigs feed. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...31&q=forcedfed

Muahaha.... http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...ge-page16.html

Oh, and duckie, that first post's video is OLD. :P

Oh, and to Scott: The fastest driver is a Drift Champion :thumb: You know, that figure skating crap...

JonnydaJibba 2006-05-18 07:06 AM

For the sake of argument, what are the criteria for being the fastest driver? Fastest driver on what track in what kinda car?

And I'm sure he did it with orange smoke billowing off the tires, with the door open, while standing on the seat.

Just because drifiting is slow and fruity doesn't mean a drift champion can't drive fast if he chooses to. It just means that he chooses to drive slow and fruity, and has the trophy to prove it.

Plus, I'm sure the other drivers were Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Petter Solberg, Mario Antretti, Boris Said, and Dan Gurney. Oh wait, Memo Gidley was the only other professional driver.

I just read it in the article:

But during his five attempts, Nob finished the day with the best times from 0 to 60 mph and in the quarter-mile (3.3 and 11.8 seconds); he was quickest on the road course (48.3 seconds), and his overall time of 102.9 seconds was three seconds better than the second-place Hondata Elise.
