Any good 4 wheel alignment shops?

The only places I've been to was Lithia Subaru and Big-O-Tires and they were ok but I was wondering if theres any other places that have a good service and price?

C&C Automotive

Cory's Nissan: Home of the Free Bully's dinner.
Sid's alignment and brake.

If you just want to pay outright for it, I think it's about 80 - 100 bucks here at Nissan. Just call and make an appt! (322-3700) OR, if you can work with my schedule, I can do it on the side and save you a good chunk of change!

Other than here, I'd say the same: Sid's or C&C

cody 2006-05-18 10:38 AM

Sid spent a lot of time on my alignment. It wasn't cheap, but I think it was more than fair. Sid also AutoX's and will try for any alignment settings you want.

MPREZIV 2006-05-18 10:45 AM

I too can pretty much dial in any settings you want. If you do it through the shop, you have to sign the repair order that says we're not liable for any tire wear/ driveability issues, but we can do it!

cody 2006-05-18 10:45 AM

Well Sid had an extra pair of camber bolts that fit my car. Beat that! :P

MPREZIV 2006-05-18 10:53 AM

Umm... I've got TONS of spare Nissan parts!

wait, I still lose huh?

cody 2006-05-18 12:49 PM

 I'm just trying to make myself feel better for spending $160. :P

MPREZIV 2006-05-18 01:39 PM

OUCH!

jdk 2006-05-19 06:14 AM

Thanks for all the suggestions!

So is C&C automotive the same place as C&C fuel injection?

Cory,do you use Nissans alignment equipment on the side? Also what kind of price and gurantee do you give :D

Yes, they recently changed the name when they moved to their new location in Sparks.

Umm... You get the "tail light warranty" that everyone else gets! As soon as I can't see the tail lights anymore, warranty expired!

Naw, I stand by my work! If I do an alignment, and the car still pulls, or whatever, I will take care of it!

And yeah, I just use the shop's equipment, as long as I'm not on my regular work hours, it's cool!

Just checking...Ihad a small issue w/ them when I went there while back.

Cory,do you have alot of experience w/ alignments? Let me know what you'd charge for your time etc...I still need to put my bilsteins struts on my car yet so it wouldn't be for a couple weeks.

If there's something I can't do, or am uncomfortable with, or don't have much experience with, trust that I likely won't even offer, or I'll be right out of the gate to tell you that it's a touchy issue.

I'm only 25, but I've been working in the auto repair field for TEN years. Plenty of experience!

jdk 2006-05-19 09:47 AM

Sounds good..Only reason I ask was I worked w/ a guy at big o tires w/ my rs alignment because he told me he couldn't get my front camber any better because I didn't have camber adjuster bolts  in the end it turned out ok

MPREZIV 2006-05-19 11:04 AM

That's what you get for going to Big-O!!

Actually there was come crazy JDM guy over at the Mae Ann Big-O that would do any alignment you asked for. Rumor was he used to be a test driver for Honda or something back in Japan. Every time he worked on my car, I felt like I was getting an alignment from Takumi's father. ;)

Did he rub his hands together really fast then place them over the strut towers?

jdk 2006-07-24 12:32 PM
