Uppipe Hardware

I have what I think is an UP leak. I have all of the possible gaskets that may need replacing and I'm picking up an O2 wrench after work (just in case). Does anybody know what size nuts and lock washers I'll need if any have fallen off?

It would be more convenient if I could pick these up at the autoparts store when I go there today.

Looks like I may need any of the following:
  • 5 - 10 x 1.25 nuts
  • 2 - 10 x 1.25 x 45mm bolts

Grade 8 or greater.

No such thing as "metric grade 8" those grades are for english sizes only... you want 8.8, 9.8, or 10.9 (which will be the number on the head of the bolt).

I'm actually using english grade 8 bolts on my DP/Header junction because finding hi-strength metric is impossible at a hardware store... usually you have to go to a custom fasteners store (open 9 to 5, weekdays instead of in the middle of the night/weekends when I'm working on my car).

Autozone had the good shit in the back. $.99/bolt.

And you should yell at whoever connected your DP to your headers.

Seemed like a good deal to me. Especially considering I busted one today.

I PB blasted it and kept trying to move the nut back and forth for an hour, but the sucker was seized on there so I just went for it and of course it busted the bolt in half.
