Internet access... in Lovelock!?!

Yep... the Lovelock Inn has WiFi access!

So, Matt and I set the top times of the day today... 63.009 for Matt and a 63.819 for me. The next closest car was Dave Jansen's FS IROC-Z at a 65.6, and then Art Majors w/ a 65.7 in his Corvette.

No offs, and just one spin from Art (I think he was trying a little too hard to catch a pair of Subarus. )

Only 12 drivers today... so we ran 4 sessions instead of 3, and were done around 3:30-4:00 even with a late start due to crappy timing software.

We'll go and do it all again tomorrow!

Yep, truck does well towing... I had it for Hawthorne as well as this weekend in Lovelock, and it tows the WRX like it's not even there.

What other cars are there that can even stand a chance against the boosted Imprezas?

Nick Koan 2006-06-10 06:27 PM

Wow.

Not only does Lovelock know if the intarweb, but also WiFi? Good work.

'Tis a thing of beauty *teardrop*

Finished it off strong today, the following are the overall and tt-2 results.
MattR 1st place 62.5
Sperry 2nd 63.3
Art ('vette) 3rd 63.7

Today went well, my car was handling incredibly. And Scott was carrying unbelievable speed, we were getting over 120 in the Subarus, Scott slightly faster than me IMO. Overall, I feel like I drove very well, and I was so pleased to see Scott sneek around Art at the end of the day and solidify the Subaru 1-2. Even though it was a pretty small field, I still felt great today, and we had a friggin blast. Hopefully we can build the Lovelock event attendance up a little so we can continue this event, at least once a season.
