The STI is winning, lets keep it that way :concur:

Libila 2006-06-22 12:18 PM

+1 for the STi :)

Dean 2006-06-22 12:21 PM

What, no Camry?

JC 2006-06-22 12:59 PM

I voted for the EVO.

MikeK 2006-06-22 01:16 PM

I voted for the evo too. I would be driving one right now if mitsubishi dealers lived on planet earth.

What are your pros and cons when comparing the two?

Aside from the fact that every punk kid these days has a WRX or STi that his parents bought him? :P

SpecB#127 2006-06-26 12:52 PM

I almost bought and Evo MR instead of my Legacy GT. I just could not justify spending $36K on a car with no cruise control.

SpecB#127 2006-06-26 12:53 PM

Now it is 55% Evo, 45% STi

tysonK 2006-06-26 03:09 PM

I voted for the EVO, haha.

sp00ln 2006-06-26 10:55 PM

My postings on tuners must have paid off :)

No cruise control, huh? You actually use it?

HomerJay 2006-06-27 05:33 AM

I voted for the sti. just to break the trend.

A1337STI 2006-06-27 08:43 AM

with my recent CEL i almost clicked evo, but +1 for the sti :)

Yeah me too, helps to not get pulled over. I can be kind of a lead foot.

I use it mainly on long trips or when I do not feel like getting tickets

A1337STI 2006-06-28 11:19 AM

I dig my cruise control. too bad it doesn't work when you have a CEL with a flashing cruise light :(

sp00ln 2006-07-12 08:49 PM

I hate using cruse control because I'm always wanting to speed up there, or slow down here...

MattR 2006-07-12 08:52 PM

When I used to drive my car to Lovelock for races, I discovered that the cruise on the Sti only goes to 97 Mph. hahaha...Vista Blvd in Sparks to Lovelock in 55 minutes...woooo.

M3n2c3 2006-07-12 09:25 PM

I take it the 80E is no big deal as far as the police go. . .

Actually he was reading the info in the user manual on the way out there

ArthurS 2006-07-13 08:23 AM

Looks like the EVO took the lead.

A1337STI 2006-07-13 03:53 PM

One cool thing about the STI cruise is you can shift and just hit resume and it takes you back to your previous set speed. maybe it works that way on all cruise enabled manual cars, never tried it before my current ride.

Kevin M 2006-07-13 04:32 PM

That's how they all work.

Bob Danger 2006-07-13 05:55 PM

Cruise Control! Its nothing more than another electronic mumbo jumbo that comes between driver and machine!

Classic "budget car guy" talk.
