In The Job Market

So as some of you know I was laid off from IGT last week, that's ok that job sucked anyways, and I am enlisting in the Navy, and am leaving in about two months. As of right know I have 60 dollars to last me until the 11th, when the FX leaves for Hawaii, then I'll have some money, but I feel kind of like a bum sleeping in until 12 everyday, so I am looking for a part time job to work until I leave. Cory said there is a position open for an express lube tech at Nissan, but I don't think they would be ok with my leaving in two months. Evo Chris offered me a job as an electrican, but same thing, I don't want leave someone high and dry when I ship off. Kevin (BAN SUVS) said I should get a job delivering pizzas, I'd be like the american Takumi Fugiwara (Initial D). I think thats best suggestion I've got so far, anyone have any suggestions?

I like pizza

or get a job @ a casino. If you breathe on a mirror and it fogs, youv'e already met the requirments.
shit, if you have 5 fingers to hold tools you can become a slot tech at my work. And the best part is you will be treated so badly that after 2 months you will feel NO guilt about leaving em high and dry

Are you going to be working nuclear stuff on the big ships or subs? My co-worker in Reno was engineer for a aircraft carrier US Eisenhower. He taught me a cool song, which I will now share with you. :)

(To the tune of the Oscar Meyer song)
My reactor has a first name it's N-A-V-A-L
My reactor has a second name it's classied as well

Oh I keep it stable everyday
And if you ask me why I'll say

Cause radiation has a way of fucking up your DNA.

:) good luck in the NAVY.

Thats a good one DEE. You picked a good rate to get into. The Best Reenlistment bonus other than the Seals..even back in my Navy days they were getting a 30k nut to reup.. You will be going to A-school in the N-East can't remember exactly where, but its COLD.

Boot camp is in Great Lakes, IL, the "A" school is in Charleston, SC, along with the Nuclear Power school, and then the Nuclear Prototype school, has two locations one in Ballston Spa, NY, and the other is in Charleston.
