FS: Magnaflow catback

Hey guys. I've got a 2.25" catback with magnaflow muffler. Includes stainless tip with "Magnaflow" embossed on it. Great for anyone with stock exhaust looking for a semi-quiet upgrade. Net a few hp, better mpg, and a smoother running car :)

I can honestly say it is the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard on a wrx. I don't need it because I'm running a 3" catback.

I ran it on my wagon a while back and it looked pretty good. It looks great on a sedan.

Edit: I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Hey guy:

How much are you asking for the catback?

WRXRallyBlue 2006-08-30 09:09 PM

I'm just trying to get rid of it. Care to make an offer?

wagsonperl 2006-08-30 09:59 PM

Depends. See any problems in matching it with a downpipe? If so, which ones will it match with? I'm considering a 3" but how would the 2.25 fit to that? Also, what is the stock exhaust system diameter?

WRXRallyBlue 2006-08-30 10:20 PM

It will fit any downpipe that the stock catback will mate to. It's a stock catback with a magnaflow muffler welded on. Sweet setup for the anyone looking for improved sound and performance over the stock exhaust. Like I said, I sincerely think it sounds better than any exhaust I have ever heard on a Subaru. Plus it doesn't drone and is lighter than the stock exhaust.

Stock exhaust diameter is 2.25".

Did you decide on a price?

WRXRallyBlue 2006-09-02 11:51 PM

I'm not sure what is fair to ask, which is why I'm kinda leaving it obo.

Ezdno 2006-09-03 12:16 AM

I have no clue whats fair, just put a price up there if its something I can afford or want to spend, I will let you know, you can always change the price if anyone pipes up as to its fairness

WRXRallyBlue 2006-09-03 10:35 AM

Alrighty, $60. What d'ya think?

Ezdno 2006-09-03 11:11 AM

Ok, if the people that wanted my parts follow thru, I will buy it, if someone wants it first, then at least they now have a price

Dammit, and I just dropped $300 on a Stromung, and on RS25.com there's an RS->WRX midpipe for sale too. :(

You live in Reno?

ScottyS 2006-09-03 03:54 PM

I'll buy it if it's in good shape. I'm a N/A 2.2, so 2.25" doesn't bother me. I'll send you a PM...

I'm pretty sure it would fit on my 98 L --- edit: looks like I'd need to mod it a little, but if it's still for sale, I'd still buy it.

Oh, sorry. I didn't think I was stepping on toes with that. You can certainly have it if you feel like I got in the way.

EDIT: I just sent Rob a PM to call off my purchase. Enjoy!

Ezdno 2006-09-04 12:50 PM

You werent stepping on any toes, seriously. That was kind of ambiguous on my part, if you already made an offer its yours. Lets just not keep him hangin.

ScottyS 2006-09-04 08:40 PM

Nah --- it's all yours.
