Because people assume these pictures are local even though there's no red dirt or trees like that around Reno/Tahoe, and the license plates aren't CA or NV.

I assume that is in the dirty south somewhere. Braselton, GA is my guess.

It's not really "too steep", it's that the approach angle is so fucked up. My old neighborhood had some driveways that bad, except they were curved so they'd ramp up to the grade and roll off to the garage.

They were bad-ass for racing the soapbox derby cars down. :cool:

Your driveway will be too steep if you have bad approach angles.

You can have a dip at the bottom.

I've seen those a couple years ago, everyone at the engineering firm I worked for had a good laugh about them.
