Car audio stuff -

I want to clear out some of my audio stuff from the garage. I've got pretty much everything you need to build a full system. If you need something you don't see just ask, chances are I'll have it. I'll make anyone local a better deal than the prices listed.

Eclipse CD3000 deck
Lots of JBL and Kicker amps
Elemental Designs sub

All the info and pics are there on Nasioc.

If that Eclipse HU has aux inputs for an iPod, Tyson will probably take it.

khail19 2006-11-07 12:41 PM

It does have an AUX input.

tysonK 2006-11-07 02:53 PM

actually it would be for sirius, but since scott found me an OEM deck for my WRX I now do not need a deck for the evo.

thanks for looking out for me kevin!

Kevin M 2006-11-07 02:56 PM

NP dude.

MPREZIV 2006-11-07 03:10 PM

umm... HIJACK! not interested in buying anything, but I have a question for you Khail... Are the front and rear speakers the same size in an Impreza? [/hijack]

khail19 2006-11-07 03:20 PM

On the 02 and up they are not. 6.5" in front and 4" in back. I'm not sure about earlier models.

Kevin M 2006-11-07 03:26 PM

IIRC, it's 5" front and 6" rear shelf, but you can put 6" up front, and 6x9s on the shelf if you want to get creative.

Edit: Crutchfield lists both 5 1/4" and 6 1/2" speakers for the front doors in a 2001 RS.

Edit 2: Same for the rear shelf.

JonnydaJibba 2006-11-07 03:51 PM

I can confirm rears being 6.5'' for GCs

I might have use for that deck if the price it right. I had a little "discussion" with the deck in my truck that resulted in a bunch of broken plexiglass on the floor and a non-working display.

Will the deck run XM or just Sirius? Hell, maybe I'll just run XM in the SVX and Sirius in the truck. What about iPod? Is there an iPod module I can add to that deck, or just the aux in?

tysonK 2006-11-07 09:10 PM

Scott with an aux in you can run siruis or XM you are just feeding it audio. But you have to buy a little car portable unit like I have....

tysonK 2006-11-07 09:14 PM

oh snap...

I didn't even look at that deck specs it's a sirius deck, man that is tempting.

Since Bob's friend Lauren magically broke my sony face plate tilting mechanism when she touched it.

khail19 2006-11-07 09:27 PM

$100 for the deck for you guys. It retails for $250 most places and is around $200 on eBay. It is a Sirius deck, but as Tyson said you can run XM and iPod as well through it using the AUX in.

There is also an iPod adapter for it if you want full control. $45 shipped from Cardomain. http://www.cardomain.com/item/ECLIPC106

sperry 2006-11-07 09:39 PM

Oh snap! Can I call dibs, or did Tyson already beat me to it?

khail19 2006-11-07 09:50 PM

I haven't heard anything besides what's posted here. It's yours if you want it Scott.

tysonK 2006-11-07 10:26 PM

It wouldn't be a valid SECCS thread if we don't go OT at least once!

I'll see what I can do, but it's been pretty tough to get out at lunch these days. PM my your phone number (I lost it when my phone was stolen about 2 months back), I'll give you a call tomorrow!
