Damn Eric... what happened?

Train derailment in the mountains? Two dead?

Yikes.

First off... that really sucks. :(

But... why is the Sherriff's office having trouble identifying the bodies? I would expect that two who were killed were employees, and therefore shouldn't they already know who they are? You know... the two who weren't accounted for with the other 6?

Yikes that's scary.

Glad to see Eric posting lately, or I'd be worried.

I'm guessing a train hit a car or something... hence the wreckage they mentioned. The dead may not be UP employees.

Also, don't forget about hobos and drifters (vagabonds, not the 2Fast4U types).

It was the "Grinder" train, a maintenance train. I don't think they have a clear reason why it crashed though.

I'm not up on the whole stry, but hit a car on the tracks in Baxter? Possible, but unlikely.
