Cable modem help

Does anybody have a spare cable modem they can spot me for cheap? I don't feel like paying Charter $5 a month for whatever crap they want to give me.

Charter waived my rental fees as part of the installation package, maybe just call them up and see if they will do the same for you. Threaten to go elsewhere if necessary.

Meh, I won one on eBay for $20 shipped. I talked to Charter yesterday, they aren't very flexible with their pricing and bundles. Thanks anyway guys!
