STI Exhaust

Does anybody have any feedback on exhaust options for 06 STI? I was thinking about doing headers and a catless exhaust. I know that the engine can throw codes and there are some ways around that. Does anyone know of which fix works the best. The mechanical one looks the best. Any experiences with exhaust scenarios? I have actually read a few things online that say exhaust doesn't help with performance that much.

A better flowing downpipe with the appropriate engine managment changes is the biggest improvement.

The best CEL fixes are those done in software.
