I got up at 5am today...

...I didn't know the world even existed this early! I figured all the gnomes would still be out building the world for today.

Anyway, we're cooperating with a company in Poland and Austria. So it's 3pm there when it's 6am here, so I had to come in early so we can test our communications. Man, I don't know how you early bird folks can deal. My stomach is all messed up... I'm hungry yet too sleepy to eat... blech.

It's a way of life.

Hahahaha... I'm getting a mental picture of sperry up at 5am.

You should see what I'm wearing... t-shirt, dark blue thermal, a gray SECCS t-shirt, red plaid flannel, nice leather jacket. I'm dressed in layers, each one totally unrelated to the last... that's what I get for dressing quietly in the dark so I didn't wake up Lisa.

5 am sucks... Hell, any day I have to wake up before 10, and go to work, sucks...

That what I wear everyday, pick up the shirt and pant from the top in the dark.

Wasn't there an Amazing Story episode that was kinda like that? Dudes building the world for each minute.

Thought it was a "new" twilight zone... with some people that pop into the world "early" and see the green or blue guys wrapping up construction.

...I actually surprised that someone got the reference!

Wow, I barely remember that episode.

I don't think I would have gotten it without Dan pointing it out though.

At least you don't have to wake up at 5 am to go running. I'm done with PT, showered, in uniform and at work before the sun comes up. I hate it.

None at all. I miss waking up at 9 am and strolling in to work only to sit down and fall asleep again.
