no longer a subie owner

Yup thats right my old RS is gone and I'm now the owner of an 03 evo..from what I can tell its had some work done to it. What I'm pretty sure of is clutch (unknown) and an ecu flash.

tysonK 2006-12-20 09:22 PM

oh man, really?

This is getting out of hand!

cool.

Libila 2006-12-20 10:14 PM

What's going on here? Mutiny?

sti deede 2006-12-21 08:47 AM

Congratulations on the Evo! So many people turning over to the darkside.

JonnydaJibba 2006-12-21 09:05 AM

The darkest depths of hell are reserved for mutineers.

MikeK 2006-12-21 10:02 AM

Sweet! Well done Chris!

khail19 2006-12-21 12:40 PM

Congrats Chris, new ride is sweet. I'll just choke back my tears on the loss of another Subie owner!

Scott, when are you changing the site to MECCS?

Kevin M 2006-12-21 12:44 PM

This trend = ridiculous :P

A fluke, or the start of something much more ominous? Are the Evo's really that much better than STi's, or is it just the desire for something different? Better deals on the used market?

khail19 2006-12-21 03:29 PM

Getting an Evo gets you hotter chicks?

Used EVOs are better deals than used STIs. Nearly the same performance, but more depreciation on the Mitsu = better bang for buck for the 2nd owner.

I could have bought either, the money made no difference to me. I just like the way the EVO drives much better than the way an STi drives.

 How did I miss this gem earlier?

I'd have to agree with JC stock on stock performance is almost same..but I like the faster steering and cornering of the evo. That and 18-21 psi isnt bad either.
