Holy Wind Batman

Good grief it is windy outside. On my way home from work a transformer exploded about 50 feet from me at Sparks Blvd & Shadow Mountain, poopifying my pants. A few minutes later I noticed a huge fire over by Pyramid & Disc Dr.

The power & cable are out in my neighborhood. Except for my house and a couple others with generators. DSL is up! :)

Anybody know how to operate Rabbit Ears? ;)

I took some relatives out shooting today (been planning for months), and got our dose of grit for the season. 50gr HP .223 needed 6MOA correction at 380yds with a 1/4 value crosswind!!! Crazy, but still had fun.

NOAA said high gust for RNO was 59mph.

Yea I saw a big rig on its side just south of Tioga Pass coming back from Lake Havasu today. I was even having trouble with the wind :0

Sunny Powder day tomorrow with a bit of wind. I'll be doing inventory though. Yay.

Twas very gnarly Tuesday. Driving out to Fernly in the afternoon was quite the adventure. Semi's were slithering like snakes with their trailers being blown around. Oh and if it's ever windy and you have to go out that direction (80e past Sparks), don't. The wind blows all kinds of dirt across the road. I was very surprised to see that my car didn't have any dings or rock chips afterwards.
