New Year's Resolutions?

It's New Year's Eve, and I'm home with family. And by home with family, I mean stuck in the house with a sick wife and a sick baby, sitting on the couch with my notebook, listening to my neighbors cuss at their one-year-old for crawling around while they try to watch another really noisy action flick. Stupid fuckers. I swear, every night it sounds like the Fast and the Furious punctuated by, "God dammit kid, I told you to stay away from there! Stop ruining my movie!"

I've had quiet neighbors before - nice little old people who never shout, and with whom I had no negative interaction, because we're quiet at home too. And I've had noisy neighbors, like college kids downstairs who play their music at an excessive volume late at night, and have friends over for xmas eve parties who smoke so much that the smell starts to seep into my apartment (smoking, by the way, was against the lease agreement  ).

But these. . . wow.

This is where I take a deep breath and pray that they don't renew their lease in March.

I digress. It's New Year's Eve. Now, I'm not really one to get in to New Year's Resolutions, but I'm going to make one up out of boredom. So if you've got a New Year's Resolution, post it up! Or if perhaps you never make them, just cook one up out of pity for me and post it for my entertainment. :P

At any rate, I suppose if I were to have a resolution, it would be to go faster at autocross this next season. I'm going to work on my tendency to brake too much and try and get rid of the little nagging thought at the back of my mind that tells me I "can't push the car too hard or I might break it."

I'm not going to procrastinate anymore......starting in 08.

I'm going to try to stop saying "you go girl"... to myself.

My neighbors make me cookies.

I am going to try to either not use Mount Rose highway anymore or be more patient on that road, it brings the worse out of me.

I hope so. But currently I'm all out of chips and cheese.
