Holden is on of GM's few brightspots...

I drove an 04 Commodore in NZ, that thing was was better than any cheeze ball American fwd sedan.

Just wait until it gets redesigned again with the US market also in mind. Then the Aussies will get to have our FWD shitboxes too. haha

It was designed for the US market with the '06 redesign. Hence "hey, let's sell Commodores in the US now" and not "hey, let's redesign the Commodore for LHD and US safety and emissions specs and overprice it like we did with the GTO!"
