Cool, I was thinking of grabbing some lunch and cruising up mount rose highway. I'll call you at 12:30 or so. See ya

Yeah, it was an impromptu meet, but I still had a great day. Scott, Serg and I took the 2 WRX"s and the STI up to Incline  and had a lovely lunch before tearing back down the mountain today. What better way to break in a new car huh? Anyway, I had my hands full trying to pace scott, while the cars are very different, Scott's power is still very much to contend with. Sorry no pics.

BTW scott, when I left your house, an Oak Harbor freight lines truck flipped over on South meadows right in front of me!!! I was like the 3rd vehicle to the scene, I didn;t actually see it happen, I just saw the result, how scary. The police took my statement, I hope the driver is ok. crazy Looks like the driver took the turn too sharp or too fast, gotta be careful in those rigs.

Yeah, I went out to the grocery store shortly after you left and saw the truck on its side... My roommate and I were trying to figure out how that trailer dragged the cab over! Crazyness.

Your car rules btw. I want one... but I couldn't give up the WRX for one...

Oh my gosh, You Got IT!!!!!

ArthurS 2003-08-18 09:08 AM

So, do you think that Scott has a better 0-60, 1/4 mile time then the STi? Did you really get on it?

Well, we busted out the G-Tech... We got the STi down to 6.6 0-60 w/o romping on it too bad. I pulled a 6.1 in my WRX. The big difference is the STi needs to shift to 3rd 0-60, while the WRX stays in 2nd and pulls. So I think the STi is actually faster than my car, we just lose half a second or more shifting. Once the STi's broken in and Matt can really pound on it, I'll bet it'll be faster than my WRX.

hey I am in for some lunch and a sunday drive. Do you still have those 18's for sale? I would like to drop them on the car to see if I can turn in a parking lot or not, I would grab a floor jack and meet up with ya.
