tysonK 2007-03-03 10:30 PM

At the very least get the tranny, that was the sweetest shifting WRX tranny out there.

GC8.Love 2007-03-04 11:24 AM

Yeah, someone get those bits.

Sucks about the car, sucks about insurance rates, but good for us drivetrain and engine vultures..

I'd be down, but I've got some other stuff going on.

Hey, I just remembered that my old stock rims were on Tyson's car. Wow. Part of my car has been in a major accident now.

tysonK 2007-03-05 11:34 PM

all survived..ha!

Ah man I miss my old car. oh well.

Evo Mike 2007-03-06 12:40 AM

ahhhhh thats sad to hear! tyson, ya better take care of my old baby!

MPREZIV 2007-03-06 07:44 AM

Hey! The Wedge seat brackets live on as well! :D

murphy 2007-03-07 09:00 AM

nope seats are mine if your talking about the sparcos...I'm waiting to hear if it cool to rip motor and tranny... I got a little more info on it...the crash was on the road between Golden Valley and Sun Valley. He claims to have been going 40, hit a patch of gravel and lost control. car ended up smashing into the hill and then ending up on its side..a small engine bay fire from a cracked injector.
Now its odd that this crash happend right after he got some cheap ebay parts (subframe brace, front strut tower bar). I think that he was going faster that 40 checking out how his new parts helped out, went to hot into corner rear kicked out he let off gas, car kicked back and shot him into side of hill then spun rolling it onto its side.

MattR 2007-03-07 09:15 AM

Wow...Crash and Burn. Outstanding.

tysonK 2007-03-07 04:39 PM

I told him to call me before he modded.

murphy 2007-03-07 05:57 PM

I would not really call ebay strut tower brace or subframe brace a huge mod..but he still over drove his skill level.

Nah, the OEM seats and front brakes from that car are in mine.

Gravel is no fun unless you're doing at LEAST 40....
