My car finally got here!

After what seemed like forever (a month and four days) my STi finally got here. To my suprise there was no shipping damage either. So far I'm extremely happy with it aside from the infamous "bobble head" I get while on the Autobahn. It's much worse than I remember. I've gone through $90 worth of gas in five days:lol: but a large chunk of that was from my trip to Trier Saturday to pick up my new Spec-C front seats:D

I know you've all seen a stock STi but Pete and Bobby have been hounding me for pictures. These aren't anything special, just snap shots with no tripod right before I ran out of light.

Nice seats. What is the bobble head reference? And pictures of STIs are always cool...

Hot daim (yes, dame). Congrats, Tim!! What happened to the wagon? Hot-hot seats.

I'm confused... did you buy and ship a US spec STi to Germany via the military, or did you pick up a euro spec locally? If it's a euro car (which I'm guessing it is based on the center arm rest...), how's the 2.0L twin-scroll? Also, how'd you afford the damn thing... STi's are like the equivalent of like US$45,000 in Europe, aren't they!?

Doesn't look like a Euro car, no side markers or rear fog.

I bought a US-spec STi and shipped it over here. You can see the TX reg tag on the windscreen in the first picture. I do however have access to twin scroll vf36 of a spec-c but I can't afford it right now

Dean, I was reffering to how bouncy the ride is in stock form. On certain stretches of autobahn at ~200 kph the car feels down right scary to drive. I thought I was going to jump from one lane to the next...

GLove, I sold the wagon to some guy in Switzerland a few months ago when I bought this. I was driving an E36 325 around while I waited for this thing to show up.

Cool, what are you going to do about the suspension?

Cut the springs.

I think he should lift it with Outback struts and throw some 28" Swampers on there. The Germans won't know what the hell to think.

For the summer I'm hoping to get new springs, a larger front sway bar and a better alignment. Nothing too fancy.
