sweet new driving road.

well today i was goofin around cause i had a half day and was driving around with my buddy looking for something to do. we were over by mccarran/longley and he was like hey look that road goes up around rattle snake mountain so we took it and found out that it is like a 2-3+ mile long road with brand new pavement, low traffic and lots of twisties. you guys prolly know about it but i just thought id say something. it would be a fun road to drive once i get my summer tires on. canyon running type stuff.

Fun road, but I used to see a lot of cops up there too.

It's tons of fun!!!!! In fact, in high school, I knew a kid who was "canyon driving" that road and flipped his car and burned to death with 2 other people...awesome fun!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, and you'll probably get run off the road by a gravel truck if you go Mon-fri.

That's the same road that got a Lithia Subaru dealer fired after he rolled a WRX down the side of the mountain with a customer in the passenger seat on a test drive.

thats why you dont let the rep drive.

Cory has a friend that rolled his car on that road aswell.

That road kinda spooks me out with all the gravel trucks and bikes that aren't supposed to be there.

The hiking trail at the top of the first hill isn't half bad though, for what it is.

I had a friend in HS that killed himself too running the mountain twisties in Saratoga. Except he was by himself at night, so when he disappeared nobody knew what happened or where to look. The sheriffs finally found the wreck several months later.. I'm sure you can imagine what condition the body was in.

Yeah that hill is neat. I've only driven it fast a couple times. It's crazy that there is a dam back there.
