WTBorrow Pickup Truck

I am moving, and I am wondering if anyone on here has a pickup truck that I can borrow one of these afternoons. I don't have much stuff, just need to move my queen size bed, a table, and a couple of night stands.

Anyone?

Um... don't you own a truck?

Yes, I do own a truck. And yes I was hoping to have it finished by now. But, I was not successful.

If only you had some kind of engine stand!!

NevadaSTi 2007-06-25 04:12 PM

Ah, now I get it.

The engine is suspended from a 5-1/8"X12" Versalam beam that is 12' across. The beam is held up by a 6x6 post at each end. There is a chain that is bolted to intake manifold. Which in turn is held by a winch. That winch is then secured to the beam. LOL. My engine stand is a poor little quad trailer. IIRC, that 390 V8 weighs in around 685 lbs. That poor trailer had two of them on it at one point. My donor motor is ready to go in, except I busted a bolt on the exhaust manifold. So, now I have to drill it out, and put an easy out it to try to remove what's left of the sheared off bolt.

Perhaps when it is done, I will come autocross the beast!!!

685 pounds??? +1 for Subarus... me and my dad carried an EJ18 from the garage to the backyard, and an EJ22 from the backyard to the garage last weekend...

NevadaSTi 2007-06-25 04:35 PM

My bad, 680 pounds.
