Transformers.
 

I'm faces with an interesting decision, on one hand is my love of Transformers, and on the other my hatred of Michael Bay.

If you like The Transformers you'll like this movie.

If you like action movies you'll like this movie.

If you know who Michael Bay is, it will prevent you from enjoying this movie. If Bay kept his name off of this movie I would have really enjoyed it. I mean seriously, that guy uses the same shots in every movie. It's like watching Bad Boys 2, just replace Will Smith, and Martin Lawrence, with Optimus Prime, and Bumble Bee. However the action in this movie is great, I'm normally not a fan of movies with CGI but it works in Transformers. The fighting in this movie totally makes up for Michael Bay

So if you can get past the not so great story line, the shitty directing and Michael Bay, you'll like this movie.

Oh and Starscream! Seriously Starscream.


To summarize watch Transformers, Michael Bay has the intelligence of a frenchmen, and Starscream, seriously Starscream.

If they would have put somebody elses name on the movie but MB actually directed it, you wouldn't be complaining. Not so great story line? Did you ever watch the cartoon? Guess not. But whatev, your expectations are always too high... for everything.

I thought it was awesome.

Yes I did watch the cartoon, and realistically the cartoon wasn't that great. I mean it was awesome when I was too little to understand any of it.

This movie exceeded my expectations, and what's wrong with high expectations?

When I said it's like watching Bad Boys 2, I was referring to the cinematography. It's like a 03 WRX, and a 04, one looks better, but underneath it's the exact same thing.

Jonny you look at movies as a form of entertainment, I look at movies as a form of art. This movie to me was like the new Circa Survive album, On Letting Go. It's far better than their last album, but is fundamentally the same. It's like an artist who paints the exact same background in everyone of his paintings, but changes the foreground.

And too bad nothing in this movie could be related to cartoon, other than the names. So shut up Jon.

So, since I like Circa Survive's new album I'll like Transformers?

I like the new Circa Survive a lot, and the movie was fairly epic in my opinion.

we all scream for Starscream. at least i did in my mind.

Well they did get Peter Cullen to do Prime, the guy who did Primes voice in the cartoon. That right there is pretty fuckin cool.
