Couch (loveseat) and Dresser for Free-food??

Couch: Gone

Dresser: Gone

100_Percent_Juice 2007-08-03 05:24 PM

OMG now I know why that wing of the house is forbidden!

"It puts the lotion on the skin!"

NevadaSTi 2007-08-06 12:01 PM

Hey Dean, how is that dresser made? Cheap crappy particle board? If so, is it still solid?

Dresser is fairly well made and heavy.

A couple of the solid wood sliders could use replacing as the metal slides have chewed them up.

NevadaSTi 2007-08-06 01:33 PM

I'll take it then.

When?

NevadaSTi 2007-08-06 01:45 PM

When is it available? I'll have to take a raincheck on that ice tea, or food at a meet. As I am rather broke at the moment. The 15th is payday, so to be fair, after that. Sounds good? Or do you need it out before then?

Dean 2007-08-06 02:22 PM

If you are up this way and have the means to move it, sooner is better. Otherwise it is going on craigslist "free" section.

Just wait until it shows up in the craigslist free section.

I think it would fit in my 4runner. So, where is "up this way?"

Dean 2007-08-07 09:21 AM

Dresser is gone and couch is on cragslist for free so will be gone shortly if you want it, act fast...

AtomicLabMonkey 2007-08-08 04:18 AM

That floral print is simply spectacular.

Free is free. And why do you think I am getting rid of it? it took all of 5 minutes on craigslist to get 4 replies and it is gone...

AtomicLabMonkey 2007-08-08 08:33 AM

Hey, I'm not knocking the price. More the fact that you owned it in the first place.

I paid the same amount for it many years ago, and I am a guy, so as long as it kept my ass from hitting the floor, it did it's job! Who cares what it looks like.

cody 2007-08-08 08:44 AM

Visitors?

Sit on the floor if you don't like it. :P

Actually, making the house more presentable is part of the reason it had to go.

My furniture is still quite eclectic, but the floral print had to go.

Next, I need some lamps that are not 5' tall and 2.5' wide...

2 are crystal, silver plated ornate cast metal and silk, kind of like table standing chandeliers. The other one is just a huge ceramic beast.

You gotta watch yourself at Dean's house... sometimes the panthers and leopards are roaming the place off their leashes. Plus there's a coke dealer/pimp left over from the 70's that lives in the basement.

He prefers the title recreation facilitator. And the panthers and leopards are just velvet black light wall hangings you wimp.

I swear I saw 'em move one time.

Kevin M 2007-08-08 01:31 PM

I assume that was after the trip downstairs to the recreational facilitator?
