Wheels for sale

Everything sold as of 8/25/07

OK, so I've decided to sell some wheels and try something new. I'll have actual pics posted when I get home from work tonight.

First, a set of Enkei RP02 in silver. 17x7.5", 5x100, ET48. I haven't weighed them personally, but it seems like they were around 17 lbs each, IIRC. I've used these for two summers now, and they are still in near-perfect shape. No curb rash, dings, dents or scratches that I can see. I never put the Enkei stickers on the spoke either, so they are plain silver. Mounted on them are a set of Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions in 235/40/17. Also used for two summers, street driven only. Lots of tread left. Asking $300 for the rims alone, or $600 with the tires mounted.

I also have a set of Primax 767 rims in 16x7. Sort of a gunmetal/hyperblack color. Universal 5 lug pattern, 5x100 and 5x114, ET 42. No idea on weight, but they feel about the same as my 99 RS stock wheels. Used these for winter wheels one season on my car, and summer wheels one year on my wife's old car. They are in great shape except one wheel has some curb rash. They fit fine on my bugeye sedan, they sit just inside of being flush with the fenders. Offset might be a bit low on a wagon or older Impreza. I also have a set of 205/55/16 Falken ZE502 all season tires that would fit these rims. They have around 50% tread left, I've never used them so I don't know how they are. Asking $150 for the rims alone, or $200 with tires.

I like those enkei wheels. If you still have them by the time winter starts rolling around, I will buy them either for my car or my wifes.

^They're great wheels. I have 6.

OK, here's the pics. I didn't take pics of each Enkei cause they all look the same. Tires were rotated regularly and seem to be wearing nice and even. I took close ups of the rash on the curbed Primax rim, the other 3 look good. The tires in the pics are no longer mounted and are not the Falkens that I have for sale. The centercaps are in varying degrees of faded red, two of them are nearly all chrome, one has a red ring left and the other is still pretty red.

Sorry, I'm not big on bargaining on the first day of a sale. I think $300 is more than a fair price for these. Normally these went for around $200 per wheel. I don't think you can find a set of quality 17 lb rims for $300 anywhere else. ;) Let me know what you want to do.

Yeah, I'll do $300. Umm, would it be ok to check them out in person? Maybe tomorrow or Thursday?

Sure, no problem. I'm at the Napa at 2530 Wrondel Way from 7:30 to at least 4:30. They are currently on my car. If you need to meet later than that, I live in Spanish Springs or we could set something up closer to town. What's your schedule like?

moose 2007-08-21 10:45 PM

Thats fine. I will come buy tomorrow. I have all day Wed. and Thur. So, just go to the counter and ask for you?

Yep, I'll be at the counter or in my office probably. I go to lunch from 11-12, other than that I'm there all day. See you tomorrow.

moose 2007-08-21 10:49 PM

Alright. See you tomorrow. By chance, do you know if these are able to be powder coated?

They are cast, so I don't see why not. I've had other cast rims powdercoated before with no problems.

moose 2007-08-21 10:59 PM

Alright, that sounds good. Would you be able to save the tires for a couple weeks?

If the tires don't sell with the wheels, I'll be using them on my new rims. For a bit more than the $300 difference, you should be able to get a decent set of new Falkens.

moose 2007-08-22 08:04 AM

Alright, thats cool.

khail19 2007-08-22 02:29 PM

Enkeis are pending to moose.

Primax rims still for sale.

No problem. It will be a while though.

khail19 2007-08-23 02:55 PM

OK. moose picked up the Enkeis today, so those are gone. Anyone need some cheap winter or track wheels?

khail19 2007-08-25 01:11 PM

Sold the other wheels on Craigslist. Move along, nothing to see here.

Kevin M 2007-08-25 01:18 PM

Still have the S03s?
