From personal experience, Beer Milkshakes are not as good as they first might sound. Also, Beer Floats are no where near as good as Root Beer Floats.

Guiness/vanilla milk shakes aren't bad actually...and I don't even like Guiness.

There is a bigger more important question lurking over this thread. Do you drink your Irish carbomb Catholic or Protestant? If you know that answer, it'll show your age and your pride in wiskey.

I'm not sure about the terminology, but there's only one way to make a carbomb:

1/2 shot Jameson, 1/2 shot Bailey's dropped into half a pint of Guinness, downed in one breath.

Jameson is Catholic. Bushmills (square bottle) is Protestant. To me it doesn't matter when the whiskey is being somewhat ruined by the whole carbomb mixing/shooting... especially on the way back up. :P

I came in off the road for gas and a break. Co-worker came around the corner and gave me a Rootbeer Float at 2:30 a.m. Man did that hit the spot.:)

If anybody hasn't gone to Wendy's and gotten a Vanilla Frosty Rootbeer Float, it's HIGHLY recommended...
