I wish I was still in SLO...

...I probably could have watched the test!

This is the kind of stuff we should be spending our defense funds on... rather than poking our enemies with a stick, lets just render their military useless against us. That way, they can attack us, do nothing, then we can beat the crap out of them w/ UN backing and a fuck-ton of cruise missiles.

'Course, not even N. Korea is dumb enough to launch a ballistic missile attack on the US if we've got a missile defense system in place. Hell, I don't think they're even dumb enough to do it if we don't have the defense system... it would be political and literal suicide.

But I digress... the point is, it would have been cool to see the missile launch from my old office in SLO. I remember seeing military satellite launches right from my desk.

We used to get to see all the Vandenberg tests too in Santa Barbara.

I remember some of the tests used to light up the night sky with this eerie green glow.

That office was a fun place to play CounterStrike.

That and the squad of 8 good players sitting at computers in the same room, teaming up to skullfuck anyone that played against us.
