Hey there - this came by way of a family friend who's neighbor designs / fabricates auto parts...i have not tested it out but plan on seeing if I can try it out in 2008. Allen A

Just a smidge.

Until I saw some more detailed info on their testing procedures, I'd regard everything on that webpage as nothing more than marketing hype. They make some pretty inflated claims for a couple of bolted in steel tubes. I don't particularly like the design at the bottom either, with that span of unsupported flat plate.

And $500? I know small mfgr's have to have larger margins to make any money, but damn.

I think for way less than $500, you could weld in a sheet metal bulkhead that would add way more rigidity, or add a welded in X brace.
