My car is sneezing coolant.

For the last 2 days my car is throwing some coolant around in my engine compartment. It leaves a small spot on my driveway about 4 inches wide. I cant seem to find exactly where its coming from because its hitting the fans and then there are drops in all random places. My car is seeing normal temps and isn't boiling out on the ground or anything. What can help me to find where the leak is?

Hose crack? Small crack that when the coolant gets hot it eventually seeps out?

perhaps, I will try feeling around.

Check your upper radiator hose, mine was leaking at 60000...

Did you throw a socket at your radiator?

BTW I think you have my 10mm wrench...

Probably a pinhole somewhere. I think I have one as well. I was going to take mine to BCT for a pressure test, but they are closed. :(

if u are leeky the green wonderfulness.

you might want to check ur cap.

100_Percent_Juice 2007-12-07 02:31 PM

Yeah that was the first thing i checked. The problem was at the top hose connected to the radiator. There was a fingernail size slit in the hose that was an easy fix.
