Snow Tubing where in Tahoe?
 

I want to take my kids up to play tubing this weekend. Any body know where is a good place to go. I usually go to the one pass Mt.Rose.

If you have your own equipment and your not looking for a crowd, I'd recommend my back yard. I think you still have my number?

That's easy, all you need are these four things:

1. tube
2. rope
3. car
4. empty parking lot

= fun and safe-ish!

True that! Just make sure no cops are around, I almost got a ticket up in Incline for doing that...Then again, I was on a road not in a parking lot.

Granlibakken (sp?) on the West Shore has a good hill and a rope tow IIRC. Northstar has one but I dunno if it is open yet.

F that. You need these 4 things.
1. Folded towel.
2. Block of ice from 7ELEVEN
3. Grass Hill at McQueen or like area.
4. Booze

Tube?!? We stole lunch trays from the dorm cafeteria and got pulled around on those. :D

There's a pull-off just on the right just past Mt.Rose ski area (upper lot) before the pass. There's a good little slope there that goes down from the road level. Maybe that's where you were talking about. Wherever you go... take pics!
