Happy New Year from Kenya
 

So, my little sister came out from her medical mission post in the Sudan to Kenya for the holidays. Just in time for all the fun.

She's been holed up in the port city of Mombasa until two days ago when she made it back to Nairobi in an attempt to get back out of the country to the bush in the Sudan. Her traveling friend was of the wrong tribe in Mombasa, and apparently they had some close calls.

Right now she's hanging out and earlier this afternoon (it's 11pm there now) watching police v. rioters down the street from her. Tear gas and guns. Fun times, apparently.
