Crappy month...

I just wanted to apologize for not coming to the meets the past couple of weeks, but my Grandmother has been really ill this month and I've been on the phone with my Mom figuring out whats going on, but she did pass this Friday and Im going out of town next month (to GA) for the funeral. Also my car just got broken into on Monday night. They broke the passenger window, tried to steal the CD player, but ended up putting their screawdriver through it and I guess gave up then, but they also broke the covering for the HVAC controls. They did steal my face plate, so if you see someone trying to sell a Alpine CDA-9885 face plate let me know. I just don't want to think I just showed up to plug my little detailing business and wasn't going to participate  . Hopefully ill be back in the next meet or so.

Sorry to hear man. No apologies needed, as important as the club is to some of us, EVERYBODY has other things that are WAY more important, and family is usually first on the list.

Sorry to hear about all the bad news. Hope things start looking up for you.

Sorry to hear buddy. Hope to see you out again real soon.

Thanks all. Things are already looking up. I just got the car out of the shop today for the window. Ill be doing the other stuff myself. I'm buying the CD player tomorrow from best buy and my friend in GA is sending me the center piece and saving me a few bucks on that. All I need to do now is get that one window re-tinted, but I think I'm just going to have all the windows re-done darker since the cops out here don't seem to mind the darker tint than they do in GA.

They are pretty lenient on the windows here, I have taken every car I've owned to All Seasons Window Tint near Sunshine and Prosperity in Reno. You can look them up in the phone book if you don't know the area well yet. They will do them as dark as you want, you just have to pay them cash if it is over the legal tint limit like most tint shops that do this in town, and they will take care of you. Not too expensive, not too cheap, but great work every time. I know a friend who has a stock WRX CD Player sitting in the garage if you are hard up. Good luck with getting the car back to par!
