Rally information.

Hey guys, I am doing a project at school about rally racing and i was wondering if we could have a discussion about the WRC. I have a few questions to start it off; 1) When did it start?, 2) Where did it originate?, 3) Who are some of the famous drivers and what cars did they drive?

Thanks for the help.

Here is a good history that I always fall back on.

I haven't read it in a while, but I remember it being fairly accurate.

Also, check out the wikipedia article

You could do a whole report on just one person:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mich%C3%A8le_Mouton

Michelle Mouton was a hugely awesome female rally driver long before the likes of women like Danica Patrick and Kathrine Legge started turning up in professional motorsports. She also drove one of the best rally cars ever (Audi Quattro) in the craziest era of rally (Group-B).

I did a 10 minute speech about the WRC for a class last year. I will see if I can find it. If I do I will shoot it over for you to look at to get some facts from. I used that wikipedia website for the most part. Whats your email?

Don't forget to include the year it died, which was about 2005.
