I'm all outta red covers... :(

The stereo is the most involved part of the mod... you have to take stereo out and pull the face off, and unscrew the circuit board to get to the lights.

The A/C controls involve pulling the cover off the switches and there's 2 bulbs in there.

We should get together some evening this week and work on it... lemme figure out when I'll be available on Monday and get back to ya!

i got the four tiny lights in the cd face plate, but i dont knoe how to do the lcd part. i used a red sharpee and beleive it or not it worked really good. hehe so just get back to me and see when we can do the rest

There's two bulbs under the metal cover that's around the LCD (assuming they didn't change the stereo between your and my car). You'll need to de-solder the lock on the plate and bend aside some tabs to open it up... then you have to *very carefully* ben the LCD aside to get to the bulbs.

I've heard that red sharpies work real good for tinting, but eventually fade :(

i used a red one in my last car and it lasted the two years that i had it so i dont know the actuall length but it wasnt that hard anyway.
