It only works in certain cities. It helped me find the Fillmore in San Fran. Pretty nifty.

^Nice. lol
There's a good view of my car in the parking lot at work for Street View. I just realized they had this for Reno yesterday. A few months ago, there was one going around like that where you could see a drug deal going down in Chicago, but Google updated SV since then. I wonder what forms of debauchery I can find going down in Reno. lol |
Haha

It is a little creepy. The fact that it's a 360 degree view in like 20 ft increments is pretty amazing. Can't imagine the time it would take to complete that.
|
It's nice they finally got Reno on there.
One of our grad students can find her grandpa unloading groceries in New York, haha. |

Can you imagine how many miles have to be driven to get the street view for almost every street of every major city....They should just throw them on top of mail trucks and let them do the work for them :)

Well, the van hasn't gone by my house yet (or at least it hasn't been uploaded to the googleplex yet).
|
I was surprised to see that it's gone by my house but Google Map still doesn't know the name of my street!
