Be there by 8 for the morning run group, and 11 for the afternoon. If you come in the morning, and show up even earlier than 8 to help set up, it's greatly appreciated by the members putting on the event.

And/or, if you run in the afternoon, and stay to help stack cones and put things away in the bus - that is very much appreciated too!

Course is all set, it was hot as hell out there today, but there was a smokey breeze to keep us cool. Course should be fast, it's a two lapper. Thanks for the help Van.

nice.. what do you think the average time will be? i thought the last one was a bit short..

MattR 2008-07-11 07:26 PM

Although last event's courses were a bit short, in general...Short is better, the ideal autox course at Stead should be between 40-50 seconds in my opinion. That allows the event to run smoothly and usually result in more runs.

The course tomorrow will likely be 60-70 seconds.

Dewey 2008-07-11 07:27 PM

hmm, that sounds good.. so a two lapper? that will be new to me
