Reno SCCA Banquet - Sat Nov 15 - 6pm - Amelias Restaurant
 

The end of season & awards banquet is Saturday Nov. 15th, 6pm. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be an scca member or an award recipient to go, and it's a fun time to mingle with other car enthusiasts. Door prizes too. $30 per person. Signup info on www.renoscca.com.

A really cool thing Eric did 2 years ago, is put together a powerpoint slide show of pictures that were taken throughout the season. He ran the slideshow on a screen before the meal, and it was cool for people to see themselves from the photographer's viewpoint. We have a good collection of photos among us that would make a great 2003 presentation, anyone willing to work with me on something like this?

I can make my pictures and video available to ya! I prolly have a GB or two from this season. :lol: And if you need help with a slideshow, I did one for Austin's wedding so I've done it once before.

Debbie, I will make a CD wit all the autocross photo's I have also.

I also am planning on attending this.

We need to print out this form and mail it off to RSVP for the banquet.

Already printed it out. Just gatta get my check-book and its in the mail today.

Sorry couldn't make it. How was everything? I was pissed I couldn't go...just had a client I HAD to take care of. :(

Overall,the banquet was great, good food, big turnout, prizes.

Big time Congrats go out to several members of SECCS!

Scott Picked up the class championship for STX, as well as a well deserved Rookie of the Year for such a dominant first full year.

Theo Got Second Place in STX, there were 2 trophies in our class because of the large number of racers this season. Congrats Theo Great season, I can't wait to see what you bring to the track next year..

Debbie got second place in D Stock ladies, as well as a perfect attendance award, for showing and working at each event this past season.

Dean won Street Mod, as well as a special recognition award for his continued involvement and hard work to make Reno SCCA events so successful, Good job Dean, and thanks again!

Tyson and I tied for third in STX , so we got nothing! Except Tyson won a real cool bottle of bubble bath :lol: which obviously was my favorite part of the night.

So , In summary, it was a lot of fun, and reminded me of what a great local SCCA group we have here in reno, we are very fortunate. STX will likely be an empty class next year, As Scott, Matt (Me), and Tyson are moving to Street Tire, and Theo will be racing a different vehicle. I can't wait...Just call us Group-N.

Too bad you didn't make it Art, but stuff happens.
